Height: 4’
Bloom: 4 - 6”, Informal Decorative, lavender blend
Notes: Belle Epoque, a new variety for me this year, sourced from a friend from the Victoria Dahlia Society, is my favourite new cultivar! It was introduced in the Netherlands in 2021. With it’s arrival, a ‘belle epoque’ certainly began for my bouquets. This dahlia produces AMAZING smoky blooms that are a romantic blend of dusty rose, mauve, antique peach, and muted caramel. I will only have a few tubers for sale this year because I want to grow MANY plants of this one next year. It produces a prolific number of perfectly angled, ample blooms on long, strong stems. The plant is vigorous, so fingers crossed for a good tuber harvest when digging starts in November!
