Notes: Hamari Gold is a ‘Dinnerplate’ sized dahlia, recognized for its large, ornate blooms. It features gorgeous, warm golden-yellow petals that often have a subtle gradient of colour, radiating a sense of brightness and warmth. To keep the blooms a bit smaller for bouquets, I cut deeply when harvesting and leave on the side buds. Blooms last surprisingly long in the vase. This cultivar does not produce many tubers but blooms prolifically. This is an amazing plant that blew my socks off this past season. Everyone who visited my garden was let straight to it.
