Notes: Scaur Swinton is a popular dahlia, recognized by the American Dahlia society and a frequent winner in shows. The large, round watermelon pink blooms are lightly streaked with lavender. Blooms can be grown smaller for bouquets by pinching once in the spring (when plant reaches 10’), cutting deeply when harvesting blooms, and leaving side buds on. She bloomed like a rock star in my garden this year.
